/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Danish property owners can now get help with difficult tax assessments. A new special unit has received 1,500 inquiries in its first two months. The Danish Assessment Agency created the unit to handle complex property cases. The agency announced these figures in a recent press release.
Homeowners contacted the unit about errors in their property data. Others asked about gaps between preliminary and final property assessments. Many inquiries also concerned eligibility for property tax discounts.
Staff have already processed most of these reported cases. A smaller portion will require further investigation by case officers.
Agency director Anne-Sofie Jensen said some questions are solved quickly. Other complex issues require a more detailed review. She stressed the main goal is helping citizens who feel stuck.
