Train delays hit Sjælland following overhead wire damage
A fallen overhead wire near Sorø Station is causing train delays and cancellations between Ringsted and Slagelse until Monday evening.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Train travel between Ringsted and Slagelse faces disruptions until 8 p.m. Monday. An overhead wire fell near Sorø Station.
DSB reported that fewer trains are currently running on the route. Passengers should expect longer travel times between the two stations.
Trains are still able to operate using a single track. Banedanmark staff are on site repairing the damaged overhead wire.
Around 50 rail replacement buses are running between Ringsted, Sorø, and Slagelse. The first buses started running earlier today.
DSB has stationed staff at Slagelse and Ringsted stations to help passengers. InterCityLyn and InterCity services between Copenhagen and Esbjerg are still running with delays.
DSB advises all passengers to check the journey planner before traveling, according to CPH Post.
