Police search for suspect after assault in Roskilde

Police are searching for a man following an unprovoked attack in central Roskilde. The police investigate the assault as a potential hate crime. Two young men were walking hand in hand in the city center. A group of men approached them and asked if they were homosexual. One man in the group then punched both victims in the face.

One victim fell to the ground after being struck. The group of men left the scene immediately after the attack. Police describe the suspect as light-skinned and of average build. He wore a black sweater, black pants, and black shoes. Officers are reviewing surveillance footage and looking for witnesses to the assault.
