Tivoli extends Christmas season into January 2027

You can visit Tivoli Gardens for Christmas until January 3, 2027. The park is extending its holiday season past New Year's Day again. This gives families and tourists extra time to enjoy winter festivities in Copenhagen.

The 33rd Christmas season runs from November 13 to January 3, 2027. Tivoli will close for 12 days after Halloween ends on November 1. The park will then open with lights and winter markets.

Christmas at Tivoli started back in 1994. It has welcomed over 25 million guests so far. Park leaders expect that total to top 26 million this season.

CEO Susanne Mørch Koch shared the news in a statement. She said many guests like enjoying Christmas before normal routine starts.

Visitors can enjoy a Christmas market, an elf train, and theater shows. Queen Margrethe designed sets and costumes for The Nutcracker ballet. The show honors the 250th birthday of writer E.T.A. Hoffmann. CPH Post reported the park's official dates.
