/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /You may pay a new EU fee on non-EU parcels. The rule took effect on Sunday. Customs date determines the fee, not the order date. Orders placed before November 1st could still be charged. The fee is two euros or about 15 Danish kroner per item type. It applies on top of the three-euro fee for items under 150 euros.
Electricity will be cheapest at night for the next six months. Energy company OK expects lowest rates between midnight and 6am. Darker months mean less solar power and more wind power. Nighttime usage drops across Denmark. Charging electric cars or running dishwashers at night will save money.
Buying an electric car in Denmark will become more expensive on January 1st. The registration fee will rise sharply next year. A car costing 400,000 Danish kroner today will cost 424,334 Danish kroner in 2027. Car buyers rushed to purchase vehicles in October. Almost 98 percent of private car sales last month were electric.
Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen is extending its Christmas season this year. The park opens on November 13th and runs until January 3rd, 2027. Visitors can see a Nutcracker ballet performance. Queen Margrethe designed the scenography and costumes for the show.
