PISA Test Scores Drop Across Scandinavia
PISA study results show declining test scores for students in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

The international PISA study shows declines among local youth. Political leaders expressed great disappointment over these lower scores.
Swedish students experienced a sharp drop in three key subjects. Since 2022, Swedish reading scores dropped by 21 points. Mathematics scores among Swedish youth fell by 18 points. Swedish science test scores also dropped by 8 points.
Denmark reported a historic low in its student PISA results. Norwegian students also saw declines in their overall performance. Sweden’s Minister for Education and Integration is Simona Mohamsson. She warned about the impact of this trend.
