Mobile police station set up in Aarhus after reported assaults

East Jutland Police are setting up a mobile police station in Aarhus tonight.

The unit will stand near the Den Permanente bathhouse from 19:15 for two hours.

This measure follows two reported assaults on women in July and September.

Local residents have reported feeling unsafe in the area after these incidents.

Police hope citizens will drop by to share information or discuss safety concerns.

Head of investigation Flemming Nørgaard asked anyone with relevant details to step forward.

The unsafe atmosphere also led three local women to organize a community evening walk.

Officers from Østjyllands Politi will be present to answer questions directly tonight.
