/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Danish drivers could soon see relief at fuel pumps. G7 nations agreed to release emergency oil reserves. They will release 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil. This action aims to lower high energy costs worldwide. In September, diesel in Denmark hit a record 19.19 Danish kroner per litre.
Prices fell on global markets right after the news. However, fuel prices in Denmark will not drop right away. An analyst from Danske Bank warned drivers about this delay. He said the move cannot fix the main global supply crisis. The Middle East conflict still limits global oil supplies.
Europe depends heavily on imported diesel fuel. US President Donald Trump promised not to ban US diesel exports. G7 members also agreed not to restrict energy trades with each other. The extra fuel will help cushion the Danish market. Driver costs may fall slightly, but crisis-level prices could persist.
