/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Denmark added 3,600 wage earners in August. This growth offers steady job prospects for foreign workers. The new figures come from Danmarks Statistik. They show that the labor market remains strong. This follows a small slowdown in July.
In the past year, Denmark gained 29,638 wage earners. Palle Sørensen is the chief economist at Nykredit. He stated that this growth matches the broader economy. Economic activity is rising across the country. Therefore, more people are finding employment.
Foreign labor is a key reason for this increase. Jesper Grunnet-Lauridsen is chief analyst at trade union 3F. He explained that foreign workers help companies fill open roles. Older employees are also staying in their jobs longer.
Neither Nykredit nor 3F expects the labor market to slow down soon. Foreign workers make the total workforce more flexible. Experts previously viewed employment growth as temporary. They now see this shift as a lasting change.
