Expect Rain and Strong Winds Across Denmark This Week

Sunny weather on Monday will give way to rain and windy weather this week. You should carry a rain jacket instead of an umbrella. Strong winds can make umbrellas useless in Danish autumn weather.

Monday remains sunny with temperatures between 9 and 13 degrees Celsius. Overnight temperatures previously dropped near freezing in some areas. Winds will stay light to moderate for most of the country. Coastal areas may see fresher wind conditions.

Clouds and rain will move from the southeast on Tuesday. Islands will get rain first during the morning. Northern Jutland will see rain later in the day. Forecasts remain uncertain regarding precise rain amounts and wind strength.

Another weather front will bring more rain from the west on Wednesday. Dry periods will be very brief. Widespread rain is also expected on Thursday. Friday will bring stronger southerly winds and further rain.

Daytime temperatures from Tuesday to Friday will stay between 8 and 13 degrees Celsius. Nighttime temperatures will range from 5 to 10 degrees. Danish Meteorological Institute meteorologist Marie Timm provided details reported by CPH Post.
