/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /New EU trade rules could soon affect green tech in Northern Europe. The European Commission is preparing new trade defense tools targeting exports from China. These measures specifically target items like plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
The decision comes right before high-stakes trade talks in Beijing. EU Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič will meet Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao. Their meetings will take place on October 8 and October 9.
These new powers could directly impact local businesses in Denmark and Sweden. Chinese workers, entrepreneurs, and researchers in supply chains may face higher costs. Changes in EU trade policy could also change product availability across the region.
