MobilePay to rebrand as Vipps in Denmark by 2027

MobilePay users in Denmark will see a new name and logo soon. The app will officially become Vipps on January 12, 2027. Your daily payments will work as usual during this change. All app features will stay the same. Your contacts, payment history, and payment agreements will remain safe.

MobilePay merged with the Norwegian payment app Vipps in 2022. They created a shared Nordic payment platform together. The company now wants one brand across the Nordic region. This includes Denmark, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

Users will see a new logo during the transition period. The app will keep its blue color in Denmark and Finland. The logo will add the smiling Vipps symbol from Norway and Sweden.
