Copenhagen DHL Relay Sells Out Again With 160,000 Runners and Walkers

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /The Copenhagen DHL Relay in Fælledparken is fully sold out again this year. The event will run from Monday, August 24, to Friday, August 28. Expect heavy traffic and busy roads near Østerbro during these five days. Local park access will also be limited during the evening races.
Organizer Sparta Atletik og Løb announced the news on Tuesday. A total of 160,000 people will join the massive workplace event. The race is now completely full for the second consecutive year. This annual event is celebrating its 45th edition this summer.
The relay brings company teams together for sports and social networking. The 5-kilometer route goes straight through the popular Fælledparken. The starting grid includes 100,000 runners and 50,000 registered walkers. Many local employees and international workers participate in teams every year. Commuters should plan extra time when traveling near the park in the evening.
