XiamenAir launched a direct route between Xiamen and London Heathrow on September 6, 2026.
The new service adds flight capacity between Europe and China.
This helps travelers from Copenhagen finding flexible connection flights to Asia.
The flight operates three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
It uses a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 287 seats.
The direct journey takes about 12 hours each way.
Flight MF821 leaves Xiamen at 0050 and arrives in London at 0635.
Return flight MF822 departs London at 1235 and reaches Xiamen at 0700 next day.
XiamenAir is a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance.
Passengers in Xiamen can use a 15-second smart customs clearance system.
The early morning London arrival offers easy connections to other European cities.
According to TTR Weekly, 263 passengers joined the inaugural flight from Xiamen.
