/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Chinese residents in Sweden and Denmark have a new flight option to Beijing. Air China launched a service connecting Beijing to Keflavík in Iceland. The flight makes a stopover at Copenhagen Airport.
The airline operates this route three times every week. It uses an Airbus A330-300 aircraft for the flights. Copenhagen serves as the primary aviation hub for the Nordic region.
The route includes fifth-freedom rights on the Copenhagen–Keflavík segment. This means passengers can book standalone tickets directly between Copenhagen and Iceland. Passengers from Stockholm can reach Copenhagen easily by train or flight.
According to Aviation24, this service expands long-haul connections between China and Scandinavia. It gives local residents another convenient way to fly to Beijing. It also offers a widebody plane option for Icelandic trips.
