/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Denmark faces strong winds and high coastal water levels early this week. CPH Post reported the Danish Meteorological Institute issued warnings for several regions. Calmer and sunnier weather will reach the country around Thursday. Eastern Denmark will stay clearer on Monday than the west. Temperatures will range between 9 and 13 degrees Celsius.
The strongest winds hit Jutland's west coast between Blåvandshuk and Skagen on Monday morning. DMI meteorologist Mette Zhang noted storm-force gusts in some areas. Winds are expected to weaken later during the day. DMI kept warnings for the Wadden Sea, central west Jutland, and Limfjord. Wadden Sea water levels rose over three meters above normal before falling.
A new weather front will bring rain and clouds overnight into Tuesday. Southerly winds along the west coast could reach gale force again. Wednesday will bring mixed weather with rain, showers, and sunshine. High pressure will stabilize conditions starting Thursday across Denmark. This system brings drier weather, lighter winds, and clearer skies.
Overnight fog may form on Thursday and Friday nights. Clear skies will increase the risk of overnight frost leading into Saturday. Outdoor plans and coastal travel should account for early-week weather hazards.
