Stena Line Orders Chinese Hybrid Ferries for Sweden-Denmark Route
Stena Line ordered two Chinese-built battery-hybrid ferries to expand travel between Sweden and Denmark by 2030.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Stena Line will add two new hybrid ferries to its Sweden-Denmark route. The company placed the order with China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard.
The vessels will serve the Gothenburg to Frederikshavn route by 2030. Each battery-hybrid ferry measures 214.5 meters long.
The ships run on hybrid diesel-electric power. They will boost passenger and cargo capacity between the two nations.
