Security Queues at Copenhagen Airport Cause Missed Flights

Travelers using Copenhagen's Kastrup Airport face major security delays. The queues have caused hundreds of passengers to miss their flights. Delays are expected to continue through Friday. This disruption affects travelers from both Denmark and southern Sweden.

The long queues stem from new security routines at the airport. Late on Thursday, hundreds of people missed their departures. Even the fast track lane experienced severe waiting times. Swedish traveler Mats Edvall stood in fast track for 90 minutes. He missed his flight to China due to the queue.

Kastrup Airport serves many travelers from southern Sweden and the region. Airport officials warn that long lines may persist throughout Friday. Passengers heading to the airport should prepare for potential delays. According to Sveriges Radio, the security issues remain ongoing.
