Copenhagen Airport Tightens Security Following Inspection

Copenhagen Airport has tightened its security checks following an official inspection.

The Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority ordered the extra measures.

The authority confirmed the change is not due to external security threats.

Instead, the stricter controls follow a routine audit of airport security operations.

Officials declined to share further details about the specific checks.

They cited strict confidentiality rules that apply to all Danish airports.

Travelers heading to Copenhagen Airport may experience additional screening procedures.

Passengers should allow extra time when traveling through the airport.

The authority stressed that the general security situation remains unchanged.
