Royal Run 2027 sells out over 100,000 spots in record time

All tickets for the 2027 Royal Run have sold out in record time. More than 100,000 runners bought tickets in under three hours. Sales opened on Wednesday and closed almost immediately. This means runners missing out must look for secondary ticket transfers.

Organisers sold 102,500 total spots for the event. The Danish Sports Confederation and DGI confirmed the record speed. It was the fastest sellout in the history of the race. The Royal Run will take place on Whit Monday in 2027.

Five locations will host the races across Denmark. These hosts are Vordingborg, Silkeborg, Thisted, Haderslev, and Copenhagen with Frederiksberg. The event is one of the largest public recreational sports events in Denmark. (Source: The Copenhagen Post)
