Region Eastern Denmark Signs First Budget Deal

Region Eastern Denmark signed its first budget agreement on Monday evening.

The new region will officially launch on January 1 next year.

Members of the preparatory regional council signed the deal.

Almost all political parties in the council supported the agreement.

Regional Council Chairman Lars Gaardhøj announced the agreement overnight.
