The Danish Transport Authority ordered new security measures on October 6. Copenhagen Airport started manual baggage checks on October 8. The airport miscalculated its staffing needs on several days.
Long delays happened on October 8, October 22, and October 23. Passengers waited up to an hour early on Saturday, October 24. SAS rebooked 352 delayed travelers. Norwegian also offered rebookings to affected passengers.
The airport acknowledged the issues on Wednesday. It said the bad experience was not satisfactory. Airlines advise passengers to arrive earlier than usual. This report comes from CPH Post.
