/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /More than 43,000 people under 40 in Denmark now receive disability pensions. This number has increased by nearly 50 percent over the past ten years. The trend contradicts the goals of Denmark's 2013 disability pension reform. That reform aimed to keep young people under 40 off disability pensions.
Pension provider PFA Pension points to mental health problems as a key factor. The Copenhagen Post reported these figures.
