Odense Primary School Students to Receive Free Yearly Cultural Trips
Odense Municipality is launching a new cultural initiative for around 16,000 public school students from 0th to 9th grade.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Public school children in Odense will now get free annual cultural experiences.
The municipality announced this new initiative called Dannelsesrejsen in a press release.
About 16,000 students from grade 0 to 9 will take part each year.
Every student will attend at least one concert each school year.
They will also see one theater show and visit one museum every year.
Local cultural institutions will deliver these age-appropriate activities to the schools.
The offerings are completely free of charge for the public schools.
Odense Municipality estimates the program will cost about two million Danish kroner annually.
Funding comes from the June Declaration to help develop local schools. (Source: DR)
