Novo Nordisk Foundation to Build Quantum Chip Facility in Copenhagen

A new quantum chip facility is coming to Copenhagen. It brings new prospects for regional medical and technology research.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation announced the plan on September 5, 2026. They will construct the quantum chip manufacturing facility in Copenhagen. The project works through a specialized company called Quantum Foundry Copenhagen.
