It is the third of 89 elements needed for the project.
The finished tunnel will stretch 18 kilometers under the sea.
The new link will connect Denmark directly to Germany.
Drivers will cross the border in just 10 minutes by car.
Train passengers will make the journey in seven minutes.
This will speed up travel between Copenhagen and continental Europe.
Currently, traveling from Copenhagen to Hamburg takes several hours.
Passengers must use ferries or take long routes through Jutland.
The new tunnel will create a faster route for business and leisure travel.
It will also help local companies with faster trade and shipping.
