More Young People Than Seniors Visit Danish Museums
Statistics Denmark shows nearly two-thirds of the population visited a museum in 2025, with young people leading the way.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Young people in Denmark visit museums more often than older residents. Nearly two-thirds of the population visited a museum in 2025. Statistics Denmark released these new figures recently.
About 67 percent of youth aged 16 to 24 visited a museum. Meanwhile, 60 percent of seniors over 74 visited one. Women visited museums slightly more often than men.
Art museums and history museums drew the largest crowds. Natural history museums saw slightly fewer visitors. Besides seeing art, relaxing in the museum cafe was the second most popular activity, reports Danish broadcaster DR.
