Mistakenly Transferred Danish Electricity Customers Being Returned to Original Suppliers

If your power provider changed by error, your old plan is coming back. About 1,500 power users in Denmark were moved by mistake.

The issue started when Velkommen transferred its customer portfolio. A firm named Energidrift moved the users using a bad list from Velkommen's restructuring trustee.

Energy grid operator Energinet says most users are now back with their true firm. The rest of the users will be moved back very soon.

Power users in Denmark can choose their own energy firm. If your power bill shows a new firm, check with your main supplier.
