Maersk stock rises 25 percent in five days after strong profits
Danish shipping giant Maersk saw its stock price jump 25 percent over five days following strong quarterly results, reports DR.

The stock climbed another four to five percent shortly after the stock exchange opened today. This morning surge extended a strong run for the Danish shipping giant.
The growth follows Maersk's half-year report released on Thursday morning. The company reported a second-quarter profit of around 8.5 billion Danish kroner.
That profit more than doubled compared to the same period last year. Strong quarterly earnings continue to boost investor confidence.
