Kronprins Frederiks Bro Reopens to Traffic Today

Kronprins Frederiks Bro in Frederikssund opens for cars and buses today. The bridge has been closed since August for major repair work. Crews installed new moisture insulation and laid a new road surface. Ships will be able to pass under the bridge starting tomorrow.

The Road Directorate planned to open the bridge last week. Bad weather delayed the final work and pushed back the opening. Drivers should note an upcoming night closure. The bridge will close from 11 pm to 5 am on Monday night. Danish public broadcaster DR reported the reopening.
