/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Home buyers in Copenhagen now have twice as many options as last year. Apartment listings in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg doubled compared to a year ago. House listings in the capital area also rose by 17 percent. Housing platform Boligsiden released these figures, as reported by CPH Post.
The market looks very different across the rest of Denmark. Available house listings nationwide fell by 10 percent compared to last year. East Jutland recorded a 21 percent drop in house listings. Available holiday homes across the country fell by 15 percent.
Birgit Daetz is a housing economist at Boligsiden. She explained that fewer city apartment owners are moving to the suburbs. This slowdown in apartment sales is reducing housing trades outside the city. She advised buyers to stay clear on priorities before making an offer.
