Kolding Municipality Accidentally Exposes Personal Data of 2,500 Citizens
A survey system error in Kolding Municipality gave 2,500 citizens access to other residents' personal data.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Kolding Municipality sent text messages with personal survey links to wrong citizens by mistake. About 2,500 people briefly gained access to other residents' private information.
A system error shifted phone numbers relative to citizen names on the contact list. Person number two received the message intended for person number three. Recipients could see another person's name and case type.
Employment chief Maja Decovski confirmed the error in a municipality press release. Officials immediately shut down the survey once they discovered the problem. Source: DR.
