IT Glitch Affects Mobile Banking and Card Payments in Several Danish Banks

Several banks in Denmark are currently facing technical problems with online and mobile banking. The outage may also affect card payments for some customers. The issue stems from technical trouble at the IT supplier Bankdata.

According to B.T., several major financial institutions are affected. Affected banks include Jyske Bank, Sydbank, Kreditbanken, Djursland Bank, SJF Bank, Skjern Bank, Ringkøbing Landbobank, and Nordjyske Bank. Customers may experience sporadic login errors on apps and websites. Some users may also face issues when paying with cards.

Bankdata announced on its website that the fault has been located. Technicians are currently working to fix the system error. Bankdata has not stated when normal service will resume, DR reported.
