Building a local network is vital for foreign workers in Denmark. Anthony Sylvester shared his career experience with CPH Post. He has worked at the Danish trade union 3F for 25 years. He arrived in Denmark as a teenager.

Sylvester once faced job refusal due to skin color. However, gaining access changed his career trajectory completely. He noted that Danish society does not actively seek out foreign workers. Therefore, internationals must take the first step to integrate.
