/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /7,600 employees at Hvidovre Hospital are being warned about a possible data leak. The Capital Region of Denmark announced the security incident. A cyberattack targeted local systems in early August.
Hackers may have accessed personal details of affected staff members. The leaked information includes names, job titles, and work locations. System usernames and CPR numbers may also have been exposed.
Exposed CPR numbers increase the risk of identity theft. Affected staff could also face potential financial fraud. The region is now contacting all impacted employees directly.
