Full train service between Fredericia and Odense resumes Monday
Normal train traffic between Fredericia and Odense will resume on Monday following delays caused by a railway relay hut fire.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Train service between Fredericia and Odense will return to normal on Monday. Travelers across Denmark should expect reduced train schedules through Sunday, October 18. This update comes from rail operator Banedanmark via social media platform X.
A fire broke out in a rail relay hut near Aarup last Friday. Because of the fire, buses replaced all regional trains on this section. Express and international trains continued running through the area. However, these trains operated at lower speeds between Odense and Middelfart or Fredericia.
National operator DSB earlier confirmed reduced train service through the weekend. The resumption on Monday will fully restore regular rail traffic on the route. CPH Post reported the announcement on Wednesday.
