/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /International workers can learn about local workplace rights at a free Copenhagen event. The event takes place on October 22, 2026. It helps foreign staff understand Scandinavian unions and unemployment funds. This is useful for cross-border commuters from nearby cities like Malmö.
The association InDe and trade union PROSA are organizing the event. It runs from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Peter Ipsens Allé 25. Doors open at 1:15 p.m. Foreign workers are far less likely to join local trade unions. Many find it hard to navigate Danish labor protections. This event offers direct discussions between workers and union leaders.
The program includes a panel discussion and targeted workshops. Workshops focus on IT, research, service jobs, and unemployment. Speakers come from unions like 3F, IDA, DM, and FOA. Participants can ask questions about support services and employment rights. A networking hour will follow from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event is free, but registration is required online. This initiative was reported by The Copenhagen Post.
