/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /International workers in Copenhagen can learn about Danish workplace rights at a free event on October 22. The gathering aims to help foreign employees understand trade unions and unemployment funds.
Organizers state foreign workers join unions far less often than Danish workers do. Many internationals find union communication unclear or hard to reach.
The event runs from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It takes place at Peter Ipsens Allé 25. Doors open at 1:15 p.m.
Association InDe and union PROSA organized the meeting. Union representatives from PROSA, InDe, and 3F will start with an intro.
A panel discussion will follow on union relations with foreign workers. The editor in chief of The Copenhagen Post will moderate.
Participants can then join four distinct workshops. Topics cover IT, universities, service jobs, and unemployment. Representatives from IDA, DM, FOA, and other groups will attend.
The afternoon ends with a networking session from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free, but registration is required.
