/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Four small public schools in Norddjurs Municipality will avoid closure for now. All 27 members of the local municipal council approved the decision. The saved schools are located in Ørsted, Vivild, Allingåbro, and Trustrup. Local parents, students, teachers, and business owners welcomed the news.
The schools have faced potential budget cuts for several years. Each school currently has between 80 and 145 pupils from kindergarten to sixth grade. However, the council set a clear condition for them to remain open. If enrollment at any school drops below 60 children, closure will be considered again. Mayor Kasper Bjerregaard hopes the community will continue to support these local schools.
