China Promotes 30-Day Visa-Free Policy for Danish and Swedish Citizens

Danish and Swedish family members can visit China more easily now. China offers 30-day visa-free entry for citizens of both countries. The policy applies to ordinary passport holders from 25 European nations. Travelers can enter China for tourism, business, family visits, or transit. No prior visa application is required before traveling. This arrangement remains effective through December 31, 2026.

China's Mission to the European Union is currently promoting this policy. They launched a four-week campaign at Brussels Airport. The campaign highlights simpler travel rules for European visitors. For residents in Denmark and Sweden, joint trips to China are now easier. Spouses and business partners can avoid visa delays and fees. According to EU Reporter, this effort aims to boost European travel to China.
