Former Danish Table Tennis Star Michael Maze Named New Swedish National Coach
Danish Olympic medalist Michael Maze will take charge of the Swedish men's national table tennis team starting this November.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Danish table tennis legend Michael Maze has been appointed as the new national head coach for Sweden. The 44-year-old former player will take over the Swedish men's team alone from November.
Sveriges bordtennisforbund announced the news on its official website. Maze retired from his active playing career in 2024. During his career, he won Olympic, World, and European medals for Denmark.
Starting in late October, Maze will work alongside current head coach Marcus Sjöberg. He will then assume sole responsibility in November. Maze stated that he is proud and honored to coach some of the world's best players and join Sweden's strong table tennis tradition.
