Fire at Danish Signal Cabin Disrupts Train Travel Across Denmark
A signaling cabin fire near Aarup has caused major train cancellations across Denmark, with repairs expected to take several weeks.

A technical relay cabin near Aarup on Funen burned completely inside. Michael Dyrborg from Banedanmark said almost all equipment inside was destroyed. Signal faults now block the line between Middelfart and Odense. Repairs could take several weeks.
Danish rail operator DSB reported delays on all trains between Fredericia and Copenhagen. All regional trains between Odense and Fredericia are canceled. Intercity trains from Copenhagen now stop at Odense instead of running to Fredericia.
Buses are replacing canceled regional trains on Funen. Staff are available at Odense and Fredericia stations to help passengers. Authorities urge all travelers to check Rejseplanen for updates.
