/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Danish vaccine maker Bavarian Nordic raised its 2026 revenue target to 6.1 billion DKK. Strong international demand for travel vaccines drove this revision.
The company previously expected 5.7 billion DKK in revenue for 2026. Higher sales of rabies vaccines in the United States contributed heavily to the boost. Increased animal rabies activity overseas raised human viral exposure and lifted vaccine orders.
Travel vaccine sales are now projected to reach 3.4 billion DKK in 2026. The previous target for travel vaccines was 3.0 billion DKK. This announcement marks the third revenue guidance increase by the firm this year. At the start of the year, expected revenue was between 5.0 billion and 5.2 billion DKK.
Jacob Pedersen is an investment strategist at Middelfart Sparekasse. He noted that travel health has become a major growth engine for Bavarian Nordic. However, animal infection rates change each year, which may complicate comparisons in 2027.
Bavarian Nordic produces travel immunizations against rabies, TBE, and chikungunya. The pharmaceutical firm also supplies vaccines for government outbreak preparedness, including mpox. The company will publish its third-quarter financial results on November 13, 2026.
