/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /The European Commission published a new draft EU Public Procurement Act. This law applies across all twenty-seven EU member states. It introduces binding rules for European preference in government tenders. Chinese exporters and business owners in Denmark may face new bidding restrictions. Public buyers can penalize or reject bids with heavy non-EU components.
The rule targets tenders where non-EU parts exceed half the contract value. Buyers can also exclude offers that pose security or supply chain risks. This framework creates a single regulation for all public procurement in the EU. Local firms using Chinese suppliers must review their supply chain content carefully.
