EU Imposes Strict Safety Rules on ChatGPT, Reddit, and Roblox
Residents in Denmark and Sweden will soon benefit from safer and more transparent digital platforms under new EU mandates.

This decision occurred on August 31, 2026. Each platform confirmed having over 45 million monthly active users across the European Union.
ChatGPT is now a Very Large Online Search Engine. Reddit and Roblox are Very Large Online Platforms.
All three services have four months to comply with the new rules. They must boost safety, improve content moderation, and increase algorithm transparency.
These rules aim to protect child safety, improve user privacy, and ensure clear AI standards for everyone.
