/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Living in Denmark became more expensive this month due to rising electricity costs. Household power bills will increase for workers, students, and families across the country.
Energy provider OK reported that spot electricity prices averaged 1.2 Danish kroner per kilowatt-hour in August. This makes August 2026 the priciest month for power in Denmark since 2022.
European heatwaves drove up energy demand across the continent. At the same time, constraints on the power grid limited available electricity supplies.
