E45 Motorway Near Horsens to Close Completely This Weekend

Drivers traveling through Jutland this weekend face major highway closures. The E45 motorway near Horsens will close completely from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. The closure runs from Saturday at 3:00 PM until Sunday at 9:00 AM. Traffic will be stopped between exit 58 Hedensted and exit 56b Horsens C.

Danish road authority Vejdirektoratet confirmed detour routes will be clearly signed. The 18-hour shutdown allows workers to demolish the last of nine bridges. This work is part of expanding E45 between Vejle and Skanderborg. According to DR, drivers should plan extra travel time.
