Frederikssund Municipality approved the local plan on Wednesday evening. The vote passed with 14 votes in favor and nine against.
The decision followed a heated debate among local politicians. Mayor Anne Sofie Uhrskov welcomed the decision and noted it will bring needed employment to the municipality, according to The Copenhagen Post.
