DSB Launches Book Borrowing on Copenhagen Line C Trains

Line C S-train passengers in Copenhagen can now borrow books and meet authors during their commute. Danish national rail operator DSB launched the Read on Line C event on International Literacy Day.

DSB partnered with municipal libraries from seven Greater Copenhagen local authorities for this project. The initiative turns daily train rides into reading opportunities for commuters. Passengers on Line C can pick up books directly on the train.

The event also features onboard reading sessions for train commuters. Passengers can meet local authors while traveling on their regular routes. The project gives international residents a simple way to experience local public library services, according to The Copenhagen Post.
