/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /You can soon buy Denmark's 2026 Christmas seal to support local children in need. This historic annual charity tradition began in Copenhagen back in 1904.
The Christmas Seal Foundation unveiled this year's edition at Copenhagen City Hall. Board chair Anne Glad Wagner and artist Martin Jørgensen presented the new design. The artwork is titled "The best gifts cannot be wrapped." It shows 46 children holding hands to celebrate friendship and community.
Jørgensen designed the seal to highlight young people supported by Danish Christmas seal homes. These five special homes help up to 1,000 children in Denmark each year. They support youth who face bullying, loneliness, low self-esteem, and poor well-being.
Sales of the decorative stamps cover about five percent of the homes' costs. Private individuals, companies, and foundations fund almost all remaining expenses. Queen Mary has served as patron of the charity since 2004. This 2026 release marks the 123rd edition of the famous Danish tradition.
